WWE's working plan for the Intercontinental Championship at WrestleMania 41 reportedly involves Bron Breakker defending the belt in a multi-man match.

Fightful Select reports that Breakker vs. Penta vs. Dominik Mysterio vs. Finn Balor is the bout in question, but notes that as is always the case with match plans, things can change between now and the 19/20 April premium live event.

Nonetheless, WWE has been visibly moving in this vague direction over the past few weeks. On last night's Raw in Glasgow, Scotland, Breakker successfully defended the Intercontinental Title vs. Penta after winning a disqualification following interference from Mysterio and Carlito. Dominik, who has been attempting to recruit Penta into the Judgment Day, then offered the masked man a chair to swing at the downed Breakker. When Penta refused, he and Bron were beaten down by the heels. Finn hit a Coup de Grace on Penta to close the segment.

For several weeks, Mysterio has been campaigning for Balor to add Judgment Day members. Finn has been reticent so far, including with Penta, which is creating tension heading into a potential four-way.

Bron Breakker had been Intercontinental Champion for 155 days at the time of writing. His second and current reign with the gold began with a win over Jey Uso on 21 October, and has since seen successful defences against Sheamus, Ludwig Kaiser, Balor, and now Penta.

WWE has not formally announced the Intercontinental Championship match for WrestleMania 41. If this plan holds firm, fans can likely expect something concrete within the next few weeks.
