The Lucha Bros. will defend their AAA World Tag Team Championships against a mystery tag team of rival Andrade El Idolo's choosing on this week's episode of AEW Dynamite.

The bout was confirmed last week, continuing the ongoing feud between Andrade and Rey Fenix and Penta El Zero Miedo, which started with the former NXT Champion attempting to drive a wedge between the champs and Death Triangle stablemate PAC.

AEW describes the tandem as "a masked tag team known only to be close friends of Andrade El Idolo" in the official match graphic. Andrade, meanwhile, has used Twitter to try and throw people off the scent:-

The answer to this mystery may have been found on 9 October's AAA Heroes Inmortales XIV show. The Lucha Brothers successfully defended the AAA belts against Laredo Kid and El Hijo Del Vikingo there, before being confronted by Dralistico and Dragon Lee, whose silhouettes match those in the AEW graphic.

Dralistico and Dragon Lee are the brothers of former ROH World Champion Rush, who is expected to leave the Sinclair-helmed promotion when his contract expires in January 2022. Rush and Andrade share a connection through their roles in CMLL's Los Ingobernables faction, which was thematically revived as La Faccion Ingobernable in ROH in 2020, featuring Rush, Lee, Kenny King, La Bestia Del Ring, and Amy Rose.

This week's special Saturday episode of Dynamite will provide the answer. For now, the breadcrumb trail leads in one obvious direction.
