A WWE legend believes it's only a matter of time before Triple H signs this wrestler.
WWE legend Diamond Dallas Page believes it's only a matter of time before Triple H signs former two-time NWA World Heavyweight Champion and ex-TNA man Nick Aldis.
DDP told listeners on his podcast that Aldis has everything 'The Game' would be looking for. He also thinks Trips will try to grab the 35 year old wrestler once he settles into a groove as the new chief of WWE operations.
That'll take some time to get used to - replacing Vince McMahon as the leader cannot be easy, but Hunter has already made visible changes to aspects of WWE programming. He's been signing a few previously-discarded workers too.
Aldis wouldn't fit into that bracket, because he's never been on the roster despite excelling practically everywhere else. Could 2023 be the year when Nick finally sits down to ink a WWE deal? Page reckons it'll happen, and he can't wait to see it.
Amongst other things, DDP credited Aldis for his "friggin' look", in-ring work and promo skills. He then went on to call the Brit "a hidden diamond" that Triple H should go out of his way to sign.
