Is WWE Officially Done With Lana & Bobby Lashley's Storyline?

Raw breathed new life into the 'Ravishing Russian'...

Last week's Raw featured another bombshell in the dramatic on screen romance between Lana and Bobby Lashley when the latter informed the former that he wants a divorce.

This week, WWE decided not to continue the story thread at all.

Instead, Lashley went about his unrelated business with MVP, and Lana linked up with Natalya by helping the veteran beat Liv Morgan. Does that mean the company is ready to wash its hands of his soap opera love affair between Lana and "My Bobby"?

Perhaps.

The pair have no natural enemy now Rusev is out of the promotion, and MVP has been a much more effective mouthpiece for Lashley than Lana ever was. It is interesting that WWE decided to shift Lana back into the women's division by aligning her with Nattie though.

Interesting because Natalya hardly needs someone to cut promos for her.

This must be considered a demotion for Lana. She's gone from jousting with controversy in one of Raw's top angles to managing somebody with limited upward trajectory in the short term. Keep an eye on this one - there's no guarantee that WWE won't just forget all about the proposed divorce and move on.
