Jack G. King's 10 Greatest Wrestlers Of All Time
3. Eddie Guerrero
Of all the wrestlers on this list, the one I most enjoy watching wrestle - that is, perform moves and tell a story inside the ring - is Eddie Guerrero.
Those who die young often have their reputations enhanced by the brevity of their time in the public eye, but Eddie would still be regarded as an utter legend were he alive today. Few have ever, ever been able to navigate a ring with such grace and panache.
Esteemed peers such as Chris Jericho and CM Punk (they wrestled in IWA: Mid-South in 2002) have talked at their astonishment of just how good Eddie was, and they're right to do so.
In terms of persona, it's widely accepted that getting a crowd to hate you is harder than getting them to love you. But charming a crowd? That takes something special, and nobody charmed the WWE audience quite like Eddie.
The sheer outpouring of affection that was seen when he finally defeated Brock Lesnar for the WWE Championship was one of the most genuinely happy moments in WWE history, and the high point of an amazing career cut tragically short.
