Jail Sentence For WWE Fan Who Jumped Into The Ring

Oscar Ramirez to serve 10 days in prison for entering WWE ring.

In response to the growing number of occurrences of fans jumping the barricades at both televised and live events in recent weeks, WWE has announced via a statement that they will prosecute fans who get involved with the planned WWE programming going forward. This new policy begins with Oscar Ramirez, the fan who jumped the barricade and entered the ring right before Roman Reigns and Dean Ambrose announced their mystery partner at WWE Night of Champions this past Sunday in Houston, Texas. PWInsider reports that the 37-year-old was charged with criminal trespass of a property or building with no forced entry. Ramirez, who in fact turned out to not be Reigns and Ambrose's mystery partner, pled guilty and was sentenced to 10 days in jail. WWE is hoping that this new policy will deter fans from getting involved and putting themselves and the WWE talent in danger. The third man on Roman Reigns and Dean Ambrose's team, the returning "Y2J" Chris Jericho, took to Twitter to share his thoughts on this new policy which had led to jail time for this in-ring intruder. https://twitter.com/iamjericho/status/646431471016800256 I am sure that many of his fellow co-workers agree with his sentiments.
