Following a newsworthy TLC PPV that saw AJ Styles retain the WWE World Championship over Dean Ambrose, James Ellsworth came to Talking Smack to announce that he was getting his promised title shot at Styles on this Tuesday's Smackdown.

There was a lot more to the story that just that, though. At TLC, Styles and Ambrose battled one another in the eponymous match, putting their bodies on the line in a brutal affair. Toward the end of the bout, Ellsworth - wearing a neck brace - came down to ringside and was attacked by Styles, but Ambrose made the save. Ambrose then tried to climb a ladder and retrieve the belt, but Ellsworth shoved the ladder over, sending Ambrose out of the ring and through two tables, allowing Styles to get the win.

On Talking Smack, a delusional Ellsworth explained his actions by saying that since he's already beaten Styles three times, it behooved him to have Styles as champion when he finally did get his title shot. He also noted that he expects Dean Ambrose to forgive him, and that he'll give Ambrose the first shot at the WWE World Championship after he wins it.
