Jeff Hardy Arrested For DUI
Bad news for the injured star.
Jeff Hardy was arrested for driving while impaired in Concord, North Carolina this Saturday evening (March 10th), PWInsider reports.
The Raw superstar was picked up at approximately 10:20pm, then released little over an hour later. Details on the circumstances leading to his arrest are yet to be revealed.
As a result of this, Hardy has been struck by a mandatory 30-day pre-trial annulment of his driving licence, during which he cannot legally drive. This is standard procedure for such arrests in North Carolina. On top of this, Jeff has been told to appear in Cabarrus County Court on April 16th.
Hardy's struggles with his vices are well documented, but this marks his first spot of legal trouble since September 2011, when he served a 10-day jail sentence of trafficking controlled prescription pills and the possession of anabolic steroids.
Sidelined with a torn rotator cuff in September 2017, Jeff was recently given the all clear to return to WWE. His brother Matt has stayed busy with his Woken character in his absence, and filmed the Ultimate Deletion last week, though there's no word on whether or not Jeff was involved.
