Jeff Hardy Cleared For UK Travel With WWE
Jeff hasn't wrestled in the UK since 2011.
The Hardy Boyz's return provided to be the pop of the night at WrestleMania 33, and created one of the most memorable moments in the event's recent history. Almost eight years after their last appearance together, Matt and Jeff immediately became one of the company's hottest acts, and left with the Raw Tag Team Championships.
It was a stunning comeback, but one that quietly produced a number of causes for concern, particularly surrounding Jeff's ability to wrestle abroad. International tours have become an increasingly important part of WWE's annual schedule, particularly in the UK, where Jeff has been unable to compete since October 2011.
Fortunately, his British travel ban is now behind him. According to this week's Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Jeff's original conviction prevented him from travelling to the UK until October 2016, five years after the case's conclusion. As a result of incurring no further legal issues during this time period, he is now free to wrestle in the UK.
Jeff hasn't entered the UK since working TNA's British tour in January 2011. It's hard to imagine WWE rehiring him if the ban was still intact, but the younger Hardy brother is now completely in the clear.
