Jeff Hardy Returns To WWE Next Week

WWE announced on this week's SmackDown that Jeff Hardy will make his in-person comeback on next week's episode.
The latest in a series of vignettes aired on the show, and Michael Cole revealed afterwards that Jeff will be in the Performance Center (for real this time) on Friday. Sheamus, who squashed another jobber and got in Cole's face for fawning all over "his pal" Hardy, said he'd be there to greet the high-flying comeback king.
Fans would be forgiven for losing a bit of patience with this angle. Sheamus has been great, and the hype vids have told a good story, but WWE called this week's one "The Comeback" and it...wasn't. Jeff wasn't live on the show, and it seems they believed his interview on Backstage a while back counted as a "comeback".
Not really.
At least the feud with Sheamus finally has some movement though. Hardy and the Irishman, who has been on a tear as a bully boy heel since returning himself, will surely have some great matches. Also, if Jeff's latest appearance on 'After The Bell' is anything to go by, it's clear that Hardy is pretty motivated about this return.
