Jeff Hardy To Debut On Tonight's AEW Dynamite?

Following the breadcrumbs to Jeff Hardy potentially showing up on tonight's AEW Dynamite.

Jeff Hardy's 90-day non-compete following his WWE release expires today, theoretically freeing him up to debut for AEW on tonight's episode of Dynamite.

The 44-year-old's WWE departure was confirmed on 9 December 2021. Now, he is freed up and ready to sign and appear for other promotions, having let slip that he was joining AEW a couple of weeks ago.

Strengthening the theory that Jeff might be on tonight's Dynamite is a Fightful Select report from last weekend stating that whether or not he'd be making a televised appearance was unclear, the younger Hardy brother was scheduled to be at the show in Fort Myers, Florida.

The same outlet has reported that Matt Hardy's recent onscreen actions (including walking out on stablemate Isiah Kassidy's 9 February match with Keith Lee) were leading to an eventual storyline. Now, the elder sibling is using Twitter to tease a potential face turn commencing on tonight's show.

That the Hardy Boyz will soon reunite in AEW feels like an inevitability at this stage. In fairness, this has been the case for a while - the only question is when Tony Khan pulls the trigger.
