Jeff Hardy's WWE Return Date Confirmed

The 'Charismatic Enigma' is back on the telly.

Jeff Hardy

WWE has officially confirmed that Jeff Hardy will be on next week's episode of Backstage alongside Renee Young and Booker T.

The company's Twitter account posted some shocked emojis when making the announcement. Tuesday's interview will be Jeff's first in-person appearance on WWE programming since April 2019; his last match was a SmackDown Tag-Team Title defence with brother Matt against The Usos on the 20 April 2019 edition of the blue brand show.

Since then, Jeff has been out recovering from a leg injury and has had several run-ins with the law. He was arrested on 13 July 2019 for public intoxication and again on 3 October for driving under the influence.

Hopefully, those troubles are behind him and Hardy can get back on his WWE saddle in time for a spot on the WrestleMania 36 card. There's a chance of that happening - according to PWInsider, Jeff was backstage at Friday's SmackDown at the TD Garden in Boston.

It's believed he was possibly discussing what would happen if he returned to the ring. A healthy, motivated Jeff Hardy would be good for Raw, SmackDown or NXT right now.
