Jeff Jarrett & Vader Return To TNA Impact Wrestling

TNA co-founder Jarrett will wrestle at Sunday's Slammiversary PPV.

Jeff Jarrett and his wife Karen returned to TNA Impact Wrestling at tonight's tapings in Orlando, Florida. Wearing a Global Force Wrestling t-shirt, the TNA co-founder revealed he will be a part of the King of the Mountain match at TNA's Slammiversary pay-per-view event this weekend. It's the first time Jarrett has been at a TNA event since he left the company in December 2013, though it's not completely an unexpected appearance as he does still hold a % stake in the business. https://twitter.com/GFWWrestling/status/613895203800248321 Still, Jarrett's appearance was an odd sight considering GFW is competing with TNA for talent on their shows. There was recently an acquisition issue between the companies because Tyrus (formerly Brodus Clay in WWE) was originally announced for some GFW shows until TNA prevented him from appearing. Now TNA is putting Jarrett on their shows? It's a weird situation. During his promo, Jarrett noted that he doesn't even wrestle for GFW. He mentioned that Slammiversary is the 13th anniversary of the company he created and the King of the Mountain match is special, so that's why he wants to take part in it. Jarrett is 48 years old and only wrestles on a part time basis although he does keep in good shape. https://twitter.com/IMPACTWRESTLING/status/613896025980436480 There were two other surprises on Impact with Vader wrestling Bram in a match that ended in a disqualification. Matt Morgan also returned to the company to confront Bram, who he will face in a match at Slammiversary. It is not known if Jarrett will be working for TNA past Slammiversary or if it's just a special occasion to try to get some hype for Slammiversary on Sunday. Global Force Wrestling released a behind the scenes video of Jeff and Karen showing up at Impact. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fdB8oLhF-xY
