WWE World Heavyweight Champion Jey Uso was knocked out old after last night's Raw went off the air.

'Main Event' had just wrapped up a Raw headliner and maiden title shot against Seth Rollins when a hooded figure revealed to be current rival Logan Paul sparked him with a sucker punch right hand from the stands. Uso hit the deck and Paul bailed upon seeing Sami Zayn and CM Punk coming his way.

The scene was captured via phone camera and shared via WWE's own X account, presumably to drum up further discussion in the aftermath of the show rather than to muddy the waters during the episode itself.

This follows a showdown between the pair last week that appeared to be building to Paul getting a shot at Uso's strap at WWE Backlash on 10th May, though this now reveals that the programme will extend beyond Saturday's Premium Live Event.

The Uso/Rollins match went to a disqualification finish following the surprise return of CM Punk, who attacked Seth Rollins and Bron Breakker with a steel chair. The two linked up with Paul Heyman over WrestleMania weekend to take out the 'Voice Of The Voiceless' and Roman Reigns, and followed that up with a beatdown of Zayn seven days later, who was also ringside for the main event. Punk's unadvertised appearance was his first on the show since the Raw after WrestleMania where the heel trio's alliance was first revealed.

Backlash will subsequently not feature any of the above, leading with John Cena's first defence of his 17th WWE Championship against Randy Orton in a neat dynamic reversal of their lengthy rivalry in Orton's hometown of St Louis, Missouri. Elsewhere on the card from Raw, Lyra Valkyria will defend the Intercontinental Championship against Becky Lynch, Dominik Mysterio will defend his Intercontinental Title against Penta, and Pat McAfee will take on Gunther.
