But it is this entrance theme, Real American, performed by Rick Derringer, which encapsulates the character of Hulk Hogan perfectly. The theme had everything that made Hulk Hogan a big name: a catchy tune, a woman singing in the background, and an air of wholesome patriotism that helped build Hogan into a household name. To this day, Hogan is recognized more with this theme than any other, including the theme song to the New World Order, of which he was an integral player.
