The year was 2011, CM Punk was yet to drop his infamous pipe-bomb, The Rock had just returned from a seven-year absence and The Miz was our WWE Champion. Since October the year prior, it seemed The Miz was on borrowed time until John Cena (who was undefeated in one on one singles action at WrestleMania) would inevitably take the championship from him on the grandest stage of them all. Not the case. In one of the flattest main events in WrestleMania history, which involved The Miz getting concussed and ending in a double count out, The Rock would restart the match only to confusingly Rock Bottom Cena, allowing Miz to gain the pinfall straight after, costing Cena the title hed already failed to win. The Rock would then pose for the bewildered crowd who had just seen the mid-card-at-best heel Miz defeat the top babyface John Cena in the MAIN EVENT of WrestleMania. Wow.
