Jordynne Grace Appears On WWE NXT - TNA Crossover Imminent?
TNA Knockouts Champion vs. NXT Women's Champion is set for Battleground.
Following her shock appearance at this year's WWE Royal Rumble, Jordynne Grace made a surprise appearance on last night's NXT show.
As introduced by NXT General Manager Ava, the current TNA Knockouts Champion will challenge Roxanne Perez for the NXT Women's Championship at Battleground next week. Thicc Mama Pump received a great reaction from the NXT crowd, with a nice "TNA!" chant breaking out before Jordynne cut a brief promo letting Roxanne know that Grace will be walking out of Battleground as a double champion.
Interstingly, PWInsider reports that this won't be the only WWE and TNA collaboration in the "days ahead", with it expected that there will be an NXT presence on future TNA shows.
While nothing has been confirmed, the outlet speculates that the Against All Odds PPV on 14 June or the following day's TNA TV tapings could be potential spots for NXT talent to appear for TNA. Given TNA's approach of taping multiple shows in advance, the Anthem promotion doesn't actually have any upcoming events until Against All Odds, so that makes that PPV or the next set of TV tapings a logical guess when looking at when and where NXT stars could make a TNA appearance or two - whether that's just Roxanne Perez or maybe certain other NXT favourites.
