While today has already brought word that The Great Khali will be inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame of the 2021 class, now comes the news that the Punjabi Playboy will be joined by the Big Red Machine, Kane.

The news of Kane’s HOF induction was revealed on WWE’s The Bump, with none other than The Undertaker surprising the Devil’s Favourite Demon with this announcement.

Glenn Jacobs first arrived in WWE back in 1995, spending two years with his wheels spinning as villainous dentist Isaac Yankem DDS before debuting the Kane character at October ‘97’s Badd Blood PPV. From there, Jacobs cemented his spot as one of the greatest 'big men' performers in wrestling history.

Kane and Khali join a 2021 Hall of Fame class that also features Molly Holly and Eric Bischoff, with Rob Van Dam rumoured to be another who’ll be a part of this year’s HOF names.

As part of WrestleMania Week, the 2021 WWE Hall of Fame ceremony will take on Tuesday 6 April. That same ceremony will similarly see the 2020 HOF class finally inducted, too. While the 2020 class’ headline act of Batista has seen his induction delayed due to “previous obligations”, fans will get to see Davey Boy Smith, Jushin ‘Thunder’ Liger, Brie and Nikki Bella, JBL and the nWo quartet of Hollywood Hogan, Kevin Nash, Scott Hall and Sean Waltman entering (or becoming two-timers in the nWo's case) the WWE Hall of Fame.
