Karrion Kross was one of 18 wrestlers to be released by WWE last Thursday (4 November), as the promotion's talent roster continued to shrink in the name of "budget cuts" this year.

When Kross will be able to sign and appear for other promotions depends on the length of his non-compete clause. As he'd been a main roster wrestler since moving up to Raw from NXT this summer, his will likely be 90 days, meaning he'll be free from 2 February 2022.

Regardless, the former NXT Champion has already issued his first vignette preparing him for whatever happens next. Titled KROSS: Many From The Cemetery Town, it's about the protagonist going to his old, rundown hometown, and can be viewed in full at the foot of this page.

Kross had been with WWE since signing in February 2020. Pegged for big things from the get-go, with NXT chief Triple H reportedly a huge fan, he was crowned NCT Champion within four months of debuting on television, though he struggled for consistency during a main roster run that saw him separated from manager Scarlett, repackaged several times, and fail to get over.

The 36-year-old wrestled as Killer Kross prior to joining WWE. Going by the video's title, he will at least be retaining his surname.
