Kenny Omega To Wrestle On AEW Rampage Debut Show?

Omega to join Britt Baker on AEW's first Rampage show this week?

All Elite Wrestling's second weekly TNT show, Rampage, debuts this Friday (13 August) in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.

While Women's World Champion Britt Baker vs. Red Velvet is the only thing officially announced for the show so far, FITE's description of the event claims "AEW World Champion Kenny Omega will also be in action!".

The description comes complete with the evergreen pro wrestling disclaimer "lineup subject to change," which shields AEW from any backlash if Omega doesn't wrestle on the show. Nonetheless, it's an interesting note ahead of Rampage's maiden voyage.

Omega will team with Elite stablemates The Young Bucks to face Dante Martin and the Sydal Brothers on Wednesday's episode of AEW Dynamite. Christian Cage, who is being groomed as his next title contender, promised he'd be at Rampage during last week's Homecoming special. Whether or not AEW would put this match on Rampage with the All Out 2021 pay-per-view main event still open is up for debate, but it would be a statement of intent for the second brand's first outing.

We may earn more on Dynamite, for which Cage isn't currently being advertised. Not that this would stop him from showing up though.
