All Elite Wrestling isn't messing about when it comes to the hotly-anticipated Kenny Omega vs. Bryan Danielson match - the promotion just booked it for next week's Dynamite: Grand Slam show.

Omega vs. Danielson was put together in a hot in-ring segment that saw Danielson tussle with Don Callis on the microphone. Continually diverting attention towards Kenny and away from his manager, Danielson threw down the gauntlet, challenging Omega to a non-title match in New York City's Arthur Ashe Stadium (thus preserving AEW's rankings system).

The AEW World Champion said yes, and now it's official. The match is booked.

Omega vs. Danielson will likely headline a stacked Dynamite: Grand Slam lineup next week (22 September). With over 17,000 tickets sold, this is shaping up to be the highest-attended show in AEW's short history.

It boasts a lineup closer to a free pay-per-view than weekly television. Here's how the card looked at the time of writing:-
