Kenny Omega Would Be Down For A WWE/AEW Partnership

A working relationship between AEW and WWE seems like an impossible scenario but Kenny Omega would love to see it happen one day.

In a recent interview with The Wrestling Observer Radio (via WrestlingInc), the former IWGP Heavyweight Champion stated:

“If, for some reason, WWE came knocking on our door and said, ‘hey, we would love to do a talent switch or tradeoff, or work together on something, I’d be all for it. Whatever benefits the wrestling fan must always come first. When you start thinking about fantasy scenarios, if wrestlers crossed over like that, it gets really exciting.”

Vince McMahon doesn't seem the type to do business with a rival promotion but in the world of wrestling the "never say never" motto is still relevant.

In the meantime, after a stellar match with Adam "Hangman" Page at Full Gear, Kenny Omega is now the number one contender for the AEW World Championship and will face Jon Moxley on December 2nd in a special edition of Dynamite called "Winter is Coming" (shoutout to all the Game of Thrones fans).

Fans of the Canadian wrestler are eager to see him finally win the big one and be on top of the mountain.
