Kenny Omega's AEW Return Revealed?

Last night's Dynamite brought clues relating to Kenny Omega's AEW return...

Last night's special Quake by the Lake episode of AEW Dynamite may have foreshadowed Kenny Omega's long-awaited return to the promotion.

The first clue dropped when AEW unveiled the bracket for its upcoming World Trios Championship Tournament. A star-studded left-hand side not only featured Death Triangle vs. Will Ospreay and Aussie Open, but Andrade El Idolo, Dragon Lee, and Rush vs. The Young Bucks and a mystery partner.

'Hangman' Adam Page may have stood as the most obvious Bucks partner upon the reveal, though Matt and Nick Jackson were spurned when they tried to approach their old stablemate about filling the spot. Showing remorse for how their relationship had gone cold over the past few years, the Bucks apologised to 'Hangman', and extended the olive branch, though Page declined. The former World Champion wants to support his Dark Order friends as they had supported him in his quest to fell Omega and become AEW's top dog.

This leaves Kenny as the most obvious partner for the Bucks.

Omega has been out of action since last November, when he announced he was taking time away to deal with myriad health issues. His comeback has since been pushed back on several occasions, though AEW CEO and founder Tony Khan had previously stated that he would wait for Omega to be good to go before launching his long-awaited Trios Title Tournament. Additionally, last week's Undisputed Elite break-up angle left The Bucks needing an ally against Adam Cole and reDRagon.

The Bucks and their mystery partner vs. El Idolo, Rush, and Lee has been confirmed for next week's Dynamite. Perhaps that's where we'll see Omega's return.
