Kenta's WWE Debut Will Be At NXT Takeover II

The Japanese superstar will make an appearance on the September 11th special.

WWE has recently made a handful of exciting new talent signings. It seems the company has actively sought out new and fresh performers to add to their roster. Many of these new talents do not seem to fit the typical WWE mould, but should have no problem adapting to their new environment. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bTmPG9RSCKs The most highly touted new signee is Kenta. The Japanese superstar officially signed his contract with the promotion during a live event in Osaka, Japan. Hulk Hogan was present for the event, hyping Kenta€™s historic signing and posing for photos with the international star. Since then, more international and independent stars have joined the ranks of the WWE, such as Fergal Devitt, Kevin Steen, and the most recent addition, Willie Mack. These new WWE superstars have yet to make their official debut with the company, but they have begun their training at the Performance Center in Florida -- with the exception of Willie Mack, who should be heading there soon. Now, WWE has announced that Kenta€™s debut is upon us. The Japanese superstar will make an appearance at tonight€™s NXT event in Cocoa Beach, Florida. As announced by the official NXT twitter page, Kenta will be speaking to the live crowd at some point during the show. It€™s further being reported that Kenta will make his debut on WWE programming during next week€™s hotly anticipated NXT Takeover II event. Like all previous NXT shows, Takeover II will be broadcast live on the WWE Network on the night of September 11th and be available on demand afterward. Apparently, none other than the €œNature Boy€ Ric Flair will be on hand to introduce Kenta to the live audience and viewers at home. The Japanese superstar is not expected to compete in a match during the NXT special, however, there€™s always a possibility that he could get physically involved in the show somehow. Fans will have to tune in to the WWE Network-exclusive NXT Takeover II broadcast to see exactly what happens when Kenta makes his official debut.
