During a recent appearance on After the Bell with Corey Graves, Kevin Owens explained how his WWE career is "all downhill from here".

Of course, KO was referring to how he can't possibly top headlining WrestleMania 38 against a returning 'Stone Cold' Steve Austin. Not just was that Austin's first match in 19 years, but it was also in the Bionic Redneck's home state of Texas in front of nearly 78,000 fans.

As Owens explained (via the Wrestling Observer):

"Well, it's all downhill from here, really. I say that with the most optimistic point of view I can have. I mean that in a good way. It was really unbelievable, it's still unbelievable. Sometimes I'll have my moments where I'm not doing anything, I'm just kind of sitting around, and I'll just pull it up on my phone and I'll specifically watch the moment where the ref rings the bell and I still can't believe it happened. It's really hard to process what happened, honestly. It's hard to put into words."

The one-time Universal Champion added how he doesn't know what could possibly top his 'Mania 38 experience; which is an extremely valid question. For Owens, he got to wrestle one of his childhood heroes and chief inspirations, who just so happens to be the biggest star of the industry's hottest era.

Since headlining this year's Showcase of the Immortals with Stone Cold, KO has found himself butting heads with Elias' younger brother Ezekiel.
