Kevin Owens openly discussed rumours of a WWE sale during his recent interview with the San Antonio Express News.

The outlet wanted to know what Owens and other wrestlers backstage think of the rumours. Responding, KO said that everybody on the active roster "just cares about what we do in the ring". Kev added that this is what they're all "best" at - he's deciding to leave it up to "the internet" to play detective and guess what happens next.

For now, all Owens wants to do is wrestle, and he says that's the same for the vast majority of WWE men and women on the full-time roster.

Interviewers also asked Kev to comment on Stephanie McMahon's recent departure. On that, Owens said that Steph had always "been nothing but amazing to me my entire time here". He and many others behind the curtain believe she was due some time off, and they're happy that she'll get to spend that with her family without WWE's day-to-day business pressures.

Basically, when it comes to the pending WWE sale, KO is choosing to opt out and focus on his in-ring work.
