Former WWE talent Killian Dain, aka Big Damo, has revealed that the NXT locker room would watch AEW programming.

Speaking to Sportskeeda, Damo detailed how the NXT roster never bought into the purported Wednesday Night War when NXT aired up against AEW Dynamite, explaining how the black and gold locker room would tune in to watch their friends perform for Tony Khan’s All Elite Wrestling.

“I think people would love me to say it was this rivalry or whatever else, but the truth is, you know, when we were going head-to-head, if they had a particularly good match we’d wanted to watch, we'd watch. You know what I mean? We’d be backstage in the locker room, we’ll be like, ‘Oh, such and such? Let’s see that.’”

The former SAnitY member went on to explain how he’d shared a locker room at one point in time with approximately 75% of the AEW roster, and added how he had even been involved in training certain AEW talents.

Killian Dain was one of several wrestlers released by WWE on 25 June as part of the company’s latest round of mass cuts due to budgetary reasons.
