LA Knight promoted his upcoming title showdown with Roman Reigns at Money In The Bank 2026 during an interview with Metro, but that wasn't the only thing the 'Megastar' wanted to talk about when sitting down to thrash out a whirlwind year in his career.

The former United States Champion admitted that he once walked into WWE locker rooms breathing fire: "I wasn’t an a**hole, but I would show up, and immediately I was in the zone and feeling like I was going in there to fight everything and everybody. Especially the company, I guess".

That led to some friction between Knight and the creative team, which included his boss Triple H. A pretty infamous clip from WWE Unreal showed 'The Game' laying things out for LA, and Knight clearly didn't really like what he was hearing. On that, he added that he viewed things a "slightly different way" to Hunter at the time.

Since then, they've been able to squash things and move forwards. Knight is thankful for that, and actually credits Solo Sikoa for showing him how to "let loose a little bit" and have fun whether he's behind the curtain or inside the ring. That infectious personality has rubbed off on LA.

Now, when he's off the road, Knight does his best to detach from WWE life and just enjoy the downtime. He does that either by chilling with his dogs or trying to meet up with friends to socialise. Previously, the popular babyface just got in his own head about things constantly, which left him "miserable".
