Kane and The Undertaker are quite the dysfunctional family. It seems on the flip of a coin they can become the best of brothers, or the worst in hell towards each other. Kane at this point in time was World Heavyweight Champion, and had already defeated the Undertaker the month before at Hell in a Cell with the help of Paul Bearer and the Urn. The Urn blinded the Undertaker while setting up a tombstone, and in his confusion of why Paul Bearer would do such a thing, Kane nails Undertaker with the Urn right to the cranium. Like everyone at home, no one understood why this happened as it just seemed very stupid.

Nonetheless a Buried Alive match was set up at Bragging Rights to end the score. Cover your opponent in dirt in the grave to win the match and the championship. Likewise the month previously, controversy reigned. For some bizarre reason the Nexus came out to help Kane bury the Undertaker to win the match.

The Undertaker was not seen again for several months, until the epic confrontation between Triple H and himself to set up their Wrestlemania match. Undertaker never did face off against any members of the Nexus, and Kane was never back in Undertaker's cross-heirs after this. It's plain crazy, and nothing like the feud they had back in the Attitude era.
