Latest On Becky Lynch WWE Return Rumours - WrestleMania 41 Comeback Possible (WWE News)
A grand WWE return for none other than Becky Lynch is reportedly imminent.
PWInsider is reporting that there's a belief behind the scenes in WWE that Becky Lynch will return to screens "very soon".
Becky was in attendance for the 2025 WWE Hall Of Fame ceremony to see the likes of Triple H, Lex Luger, Michelle McCool, The Natural Disasters and more get inducted on Friday night. This has sparked the rumour mill, but PWInsider believes it's only a matter of time before 'Big Time Becks' is back on Raw or SmackDown doing her thing.
Lynch hasn't been a regular part of WWE's on screen product since last summer. She lost to Rhea Ripley at WrestleMania 40 before eventually holding the Women's World Championship anyway due to injuries suffered by Rhea. Becky won a 14-woman Battle Royal on 22 April 2024 to bag the vacant belt, then dropped it to Liv Morgan that May at King And Queen Of The Ring over in Saudi Arabia.
Her WWE contract lapsed the following month, but news dropped that Lynch had inked a brand new deal with the market leader in early-January 2025. She was reportedly supposed to return to action during Raw's debut on Netflix in January, but that was scrapped in favour of a cameo for The Undertaker instead. 'The Deadman' congratulated Ripley on her victory, which wasn't the original plan.
WWE Could Hold Off Until The Raw After 'Mania
PWInsider did tease that Becky could launch her latest comeback during WrestleMania 41 itself on either the Saturday or Sunday nights. If so, it'd be interesting to see where Triple H and his creative team placed her on the show. It's possible that Lynch could reignite her issues with old rival Liv Morgan (who defends the Women's Tag-Team Titles with Raquel Rodriguez vs. Bayley and Lyra Valkyria) on Sunday.
That same night, she could also interfere in the three way pitting another old enemy Rhea Ripley vs. IYO SKY vs. Bianca Belair. WWE has options here. Of course, they might well just wait it out until the traditionally rowdy Raw after 'Mania on Monday night instead.
A string of surprises and shock debuts/returns are always going to be expected on that kind of show as WWE battles back against the potential of a post-WrestleMania slump. A star the calibre of Becky would certainly get people talking and keep the buzz going for a little while longer.
Interestingly enough, PWInsider's write up did include word of a "big angle" planned for Lynch's WWE roster comeback. So, WrestleMania 41 main card or Raw afterglow? Over to you, WWE.
