WWE reportedly scrapped Becky Lynch's return on last night's Raw in favour of an appearance from The Undertaker.

Bodyslam.net's Cory Hays has reported as much. Lynch was in Los Angeles and scheduled to appear in the Women's World Championship segment, but WWE ultimately went with The Undertaker in that spot instead.

Rhea Ripley defeated Liv Morgan to regain the Women's World Championship on Raw's Netflix Premiere. Kicking Dominik Mysterio between the legs and hitting him with a Riptide afterwards, Ripley hit the ramp when Undertaker's 'American Bad*ss' theme hit and 'The Deadman' came out on his motorcycle. 'Taker circled the ring before coming back to the LED screens, where he posed with Ripley.

Lynch was never formally announced for Raw, though her return was heavily speculated. Before the show, Fightful Select reported that WWE talent expected Becky to be at the show, but didn't mention anything about her being on the show.

WWE fans haven't seen Lynch since last May, when she took a leave of absence after losing a feud with Liv Morgan.

Becky briefly teased retirement in August, posting to Instagram:

It’s been a helluva career Being the Man for all of you was an honor, being the mom for her is a privilege. Thanks for watching my bio on @AETV.

Despite this, her WWE future has rarely been questioned by the fanbase. Her return has typically been taken as a "when" situation rather than an "if".

The Undertaker's last WWE appearance was during the WrestleMania XL Sunday main event, when he Chokeslammed The Rock as Cody Rhodes fought Roman Reigns in an interference-heavy match.
