The Wrestling Observer is reporting that Drew McIntyre hopes to be back on WWE TV in time for WrestleMania 38.

McIntyre was recently written off television following a vicious attack from Happy Corbin and Madcap Moss. The big Scot required treatment on his neck after suffering through the pain for a while - McIntyre has since been pictured wearing a neck brace after consultations with Dr. Joseph Maroon at UPMC Presbyterian Hospital in Pittsburgh.

According to Dave Meltzer, Drew's rehab and compression therapy schedule has been fierce. He's taking the "John Cena approach" to rehabilitation, which means double sessions of rehab at least six days per week. In other words, McIntyre is doing everything in his power to get healthy and make sure he's on screen for the biggest weekend of the entire year.

The Observer also noted that Drew is confident he'll be back in time to work some sort of angle leading into the 2-3 April supershows. WWE might want to tie up his issues with Corbin and Moss there, or they could have something else in mind for McIntyre.
