With Kit Wilson having been used as a singles wrestler recently, some fans have wondered what that means for the WWE future of Pretty Deadly.

Pretty Deadly last wrestled on a May edition of SmackDown, losing against Fraxiom in a match where Elton Prince suffered an injury. The details of that injury have been scarce, but it appeared to happen when Nathan Frazer landed on Prince's head/face during a standing shooting star press.

Since then, Kit Wilson has resurfaced in backstage segments with the likes of Damian Priest and Carmelo Hayes, proclaiming his disgust at toxic masculinity. Most recently, Friday night saw Kit wrestle Carmelo in a losing effort, where he came out to a new 'Kit Wilson' entrance video and a new theme song, with no mention of Pretty Deadly in that video.

As such, questions have been asked about the future of Pretty Deadly and whether Kit Wilson will now be a singles act from here on out, regardless of when Elton Prince returns from injury down the line.

On this topic, Fightful Select notes that, from what they've been told, there's a "high likelihood" that Pretty Deadly will indeed be reunited once Elton is cleared to return to the ring.

Kit also replied to a fan on X, saying how he would never break up with Elton Prince.

So, in the meantime, it seems simply a case of giving Kit Wilson a bit of ring time, keeping him fresh in fans' minds, and also allowing him to try a few new things. And while that loss to Carmelo Hayes was Wilson's first match on WWE main programming since that May defeat to Fraxiom, he's worked several WWE Main Event contests during that time, coming up short against Sheamus, Montez Ford, and Rey Fenix.
