Kenny Omega still hasn't undergone surgery.

'The Cleaner has been out of action ever since being diagnosed with diverticulitis last month, and as Dave Meltzer notes in the latest edition of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, the inflammation was so bad at the time, he wasn't able to head in for surgery.

And as of last week, he's still yet to go under the knife.

It will likely be around seven weeks before the decision is made on whether Omega requires surgery or not based on how he's healing. If the former AEW World Champion does have to go in for surgery, though, that would mean a significantly longer spell on the sidelines. Meltzer added that, "there is no time frame on when he will return at this point."

Dave did also explain in the Observer how Omega was being advertised for the March 20 AEW show in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. But was quick to state that he didn't expect to see Omega back by that point.

The AEW superstar has dealt with his fair share of time out over the last few years, spending most of 2022 on the injury list before ultimately getting suspended for his part in the All Out 2022 backstage chaos not long after his return.

Here's hoping Omega experiences a swift recovery and is back doing what he does best sooner rather than later.
