Lio Rush Reveals Mask He Wanted To Wear (Before Triple H Said NO)
Hard to see what all the buzz is about.
Recently released former NXT Cruiserweight Champion Lio Rush has taken to Twitter to show off some designs which were eventually turned down by Triple H himself.
In the photo Rush tweeted, a prototype mask can be seen and the one-time manager has also stated that the item of clothing is actually now up for sale.
Some fans weren't exactly in love with the designs Triple H turned down and openly criticised Rush's mask in the comments section, to which Rush replied by saying, 'Guys wtf i said it was a prototype lol. The mask wasn’t going to actually look like that.'
It's seems as though the bug-eyed mask was a nod to his M.O.T.H. persona in the company and it would've been interesting to see what Rush could have come up with later down the line had the design been green lit by 'The Game'.
Rush has decided to focus on his hip-hop career in the wake of his WWE exit and he has been selling off pieces of his old in-ring gear online.
It looks like the talented young wrestler may be turning his back on professional wrestling for good, but never say never.
We may yet see that mask again at some point in the future...
