Lita Done With WWE After Elimination Chamber?

Hall-of-Famer is vying for Raw women's title, but no plans for her after Saturday.

The smart money is on Becky Lynch retaining her Raw Women's Championship this Saturday at Elimination Chamber, but that doesn't mean that fans want to have any possible suspension of disbelief wiped away.

Speaking to Sports Illustrated in an interview posted on Tuesday, Lita discussed a variety of topics, including what's on the horizon for her after this PLE, such as WrestleMania 38:

Currently, I was just asked to do this match. I know everything can change in WWE at the drop of a hat. There is a lot of opportunity here, and just because there are no current plans doesn’t mean there won’t be. This is also allowing me to focus on the task at hand, which is to put on a killer match and not focus on anything else except Elimination Chamber.

Considering Lita has said previously that she was only planning to work the Royal Rumble this year and was asked at the last minute to hang around and do this storyline with Lynch, it's entirely possible more dates could get added to Lita's dance card.

It's interesting to note that on Raw Monday night, Lita cut a promo where she told Becky the exact opposite of this interview, saying she wasn't just coming back for one match, she was coming back for one more championship run.

But that's wrestling for you, right? During the interview, Lita also talked about other women on the roster she'd love to wrestle - name-dropping Rhea Ripley - and being contacted by AEW for a run last year.
