Liv Morgan ATTACKS Becky Lynch During Training Session
How to prepare for a Raw Women's Title rematch? Beat the champ up in training. Or try to, at least.
WWE has shot an angle involving Liv Morgan trying to ambush Becky Lynch in training ahead of tonight's episode of Raw.
As seen in the video below, Morgan enters a session at Seth Rollins' Black and Brave Wrestling Academy with a kendo stick, immediately going after a red-haired wrestler working drills in the ring. She assumes this is Lynch (as you would, given she is in her husband's gym), cracking her with the stick several times.
It isn't.
Aghast, Morgan gets swung around when a smirking Lynch appears behind her. The duo then brawl for a while before Liv regains control of the weapon, blasting Becky with it until the Raw Women's Champion bails out of the ring, shouting abuse at Liv from the safe position of being surrounded by trainees.
Morgan lost her first shot at Lynch's title on the 6 December episode of Raw. They will rematch for the gold at WWE Day 1 on 1 January 2022, as Becky cheated to retain the strap two weeks ago, giving Liv the right to another shot.
Last week saw WWE announce that Morgan was kayfabe "injured" after Lynch targeted her arm in a Raw beatdown angle.
