Live Fans Return To AEW Dynamite

AEW let a limited number of audience members through the door last night.

Last night's AEW Dynamite was technically an attended show, as the promotion welcomed a small number of fans back into Daily's Place for the tapings.

Announcers Tony Schiavone, Taz, and Jim Ross revealed this as AEW's flagship show hit the airwaves. They stated that the limited audience was instructed to adhere to social distancing guidelines, including wearing a mask, with the images suggesting they were situated high up on the bleachers, far away from the action itself.

The angle of the above image makes it difficult to determine whether or not social distancing was actually adhered to.

Ryan Satin of Pro Wrestling Sheet previously reported that AEW quietly allowed around 60 audience members to attend night two of Fyter Fest in July, adding that they were sponsors (or family and friends of said sponsors) of either Daily's Place or the Jacksonville Jaguars. It was noted that the attendees were made to sign waivers acknowledging that they hadn't come into contact with anyone suffering from the illness currently ravaging the planet.

There's no word on whether or not last nights' audience members were tested before entering the building, though the tests themselves are far from infallible.
