Long-Absent Superstar Returns To WWE Raw Monday Night
Mellow bro hasn't been seen in months, makes return to silence loudmouth Miz.
The Miz might hate surprises, but they have a way of seeking out and finding him, as he suffered his three-day string of being beaten down by surprise adversaries.
After losing at WrestleMania 39 to Pat McAfee on Saturday and then to Snoop Dogg on Sunday, Miz took to the ring on Raw Monday night to declare how much he hated surprises, which shockingly cued Matt Riddle to make his return to Raw after a four-month hiatus.
Riddle soaked in some cheers before Mizattacked him, which didn't go well for the A-lister. Miz quickly was overpowered and fled, which set up a singles match between the two for next week.

Riddle left WWE late last year to enter rehab, but the company had been hush-hush about bringing him back. During his brief promo Monday night, he did not mention anything about rehab, so it's unclear if they'll mention that at all or just let him get back to work in the ring.
One thing that's worth tracking: WWE really was leaning into Riddle's stoner persona before the injury, so you have to wonder if they'll keep that up for a guy who just got out rehab recently.
