AEW's inaugural Casino Ladder Match just got itself a monster.

Sunday saw the promotion confirm Luchasaurus as the eighth official participant, joining Darby Allin, Colt Cabana, Orange Cassidy, Rey Fenix, Scorpio Sky, Frankie Kazarian, and Kip Sabian, with one spot still to be filled.

The Casino Ladder Match goes down at Double Or Nothing 2020 this Saturday, 23 May. Effectively a Royal Rumble/Money In The Bank combination bout, it'll start with two wrestlers in the ring with more joining at 90-second intervals until all nine participants have entered. A giant poker chip guaranteeing whoever grabs it an AEW World Championship match will be hung above the ring. This can be grabbed before all nine wrestlers have joined, meaning some may not get the chance to compete.

It is currently unclear whether or not the chip will operate like a MITB-style briefcase that can be cashed it at any time, or if it'll lead to a more traditional title fight.

Also announced for Double Or Nothing 2020 is an AEW Championship bout between Jon Moxley and Brodie Lee, The Elite and Matt Hardy vs. The Inner Circle in a Stadium Stampede match, and more.
