Luke Harper Returns At WWE House Show

And seemingly, he's now a face.

Luke Harper made his long-awaited WWE return at a house show last night in Rochester, NY, having teased the comeback in a tweet posted earlier that day.

Harper, who defeated Mojo Rawley on the show, has been out of action since electing to undergo wrist surgery last October, following the sidelining of then Bludgeon Brothers tag team partner Rowan with a biceps tear.

The duo's last appearance saw them drop the SmackDown tag team titles to The New Day on 21 August, allowing the beleaguered Rowan to recuperate. He returned to action in January alongside Daniel Bryan, effectively ending the Bludgeon Brothers tandem - and leaving Harper potentially rudderless on his return.

WWE may have something in mind for the one-time Wyatt acolyte, with fans in attendance at last night's show reporting that he played babyface for the first time in his run with the company - though that could be down to the show emanating from his hometown.

This fact also explains why, although Harper is nominally part of the SmackDown brand, he was in attendance at a Raw event last night.

Benjamin was born in 1987, and is still not dead. He variously enjoys classical music, old-school adventure games (they're not dead), and walks on the beach (albeit short - asthma, you know). He's currently trying to compile a comprehensive history of video game music, yet denies accusations that he purposefully targets niche audiences. He's often wrong about these things.
