11. Randy's Controlling Behaviour Over Elizabeth

"Randy took Elizabeth everywhere. They were inseparable," says Jerry Lawler. However, there was something more sinister than sweet to all of this. Lawler adds that "I firmly believe he started taking her to the ring just to keep an eye on her." Indeed, the documentary paints a picture of an obsessive and controlling Randy. "He would literally lock her in his room," according to Lawler. Lanny Poffo issues a denial on these accusations, but he hardly seems reliable on his judgement - "No, he was just a guy who tolerated no nonsense in a world full of nonsense." Bret Hart confirms Lawler's belief. The Hitman says "It was a pretty sensitive topic. She was like a bird in a cage." Lanny remains adamant, though. "The guys saying that are mistaken or telling lies."
