Main Roster Star Heading To WWE NXT 2.0 - Big Feud Confirmed?

NXT 2.0 is about to get itself a major dose of star power...

AJ Styles
WWE

As confirmed by WWE itself, AJ Styles is on his way to NXT 2.0.

It was stated during last night's episode of Raw that Styles will hit the revamped developmental brand for tonight's show. And while the company didn't explicitly state what the former WWE Champion would be doing at the Peformance Center, Grayson Waller's recent Twitter activity suggests there'll be some kind of confrontation between him and AJ.

This began with Waller cutting a promo on Styles' haircut over the weekend:-

The Australian then tweeted the following after the Raw announcement, telling AJ to wipe his shoes when entering his house:-

At the time of writing, AJ had offered only the following retort to Grayson:-

This is interesting timing for both men. Styles split from tag team partner Omos on last night's episode of Raw, with the duo turning on each other after a loss to The Mysterios, leading to a singles bout being booked for next week's show. Waller, meanwhile, appeared to jump into a new feud with LA Knight last week, as WWE continues his attempted ascent as a top heel in NXT 2.0 following his beatdown of the outgoing Johnny Gargano.

The following matches have been announced for tonight's NXT 2.0:-

Street Fight: Raquel Gonzalez vs. Dakota Kai

Pete Dunne vs. Tony D'Angelo

Trick Williams vs. Dexter Lumis
