Having recently been named as moving more merchandise than any other AEW wrestler in 2022, Danhausen has now addressed whether he was interested in signing with WWE before formally becoming #AllElite.

This matter came up during a New York Times profile on the very nice, very evil AEW star, with Danhausen himself stating how he "had no interest in signing with WWE".

Having amassed quite the buzz for his work on the independent scene, the 6'7" 300 lbs grappler saw his stock rise even further once he began working for Ring of Honor in 2019. With ROH on hiatus at the time, Danhausen debuted for AEW on the 26 January 2022 Beach Break special episode of AEW Dynamite, becoming an affiliate of the Best Friends, and likewise soon becoming pals with Hook.
