Having shockingly returned to WWE on last Friday's SmackDown, there now comes a further update on the current plans for Karrion Kross and Scarlett Bordeaux.

Following on from the earlier news that there have been discussions of having Kross challenge for one of the World Titles held by Roman Reigns, PWInsider now reports that the two-time NXT Champion is internally listed as the #2 heel of the SmackDown brand. Of course, that puts Kross behind the Tribal Chief on the villainous side of the blue brand fence.

Where Scarlett is concerned, WWE intends to only utilise her as a manager and there are no present plans to have Bordeaux become an active part of the women's division. In somewhat of a role reversal, Vince McMahon had previously wanted to have Scarlett serve solely as a wrestler on the main roster, which is why she didn't accompany her real-life husband upon his prior, bungled stint on Raw.

PWInsider also notes how there was regular communication between Triple H and Kross/Bordeaux after the duo were released by WWE last November due to "budget cuts". The retirement of Vince and the subsequent rise to creative power of Paul Levesque thus paved the way for the talented tandem to return to the company.
