Martin Goldsmith, the man responsible for WWE's fledgling live events in the UK during the late '80s and early '90s, has reached out to AEW about promoting the company's first ever international tour. Goldsmith, who has also worked with TNA and WoS, is well known as a heavy hitter within merchandise and live events across several industries including wrestling, music and television.

It was Goldsmith's brother Harvey who originally connected him with Vince McMahon while working with Cyndi Lauper, and the two would go on to have a fruitful relationship managing several European tours including the record-breaking 80,000 gate at Wembley Stadium for SummerSlam 1992.

Speaking on Twitter earlier today, Goldsmith stated, "Hi @TonyKhan @CodyRhodes @TheBrandiRhodes @YoungBucksMerch @AEWrestling - Love to talk to you about merchandise and the below in detail. Have worked with WWF, TNA & WOS establishing merch and touring in Europe for all. Let's Talk. Kind Regards! #AEWALLOUT #AEWDON #ALLELITE". The tweet was accompanied by a mocked up AEW logo in the colours of the Union Jack with the words "United Kingdom Tour" displayed beneath it.

The Tweet has quickly been liked by AEW, Chris Jericho, The Young Bucks and Conrad Thompson among others, showing there is clear interest in a relationship between the hottest wrestling company in the world and this leading European promoter.
