MAJOR Dream Match Booked For AEW Rampage!

AEW isn't messing around with this Friday's Rampage card...

Bryan Danielson dream match
AEW

One week after hosting CM Punk's first match on regular wrestling television in over seven years, AEW Rampage will present a legitimate modern-day dream match this week.

Bryan Danielson will wrestle Nick Jackson on the show. A product of an in-ring confrontation between the Super Elite, Danielson, Christian Cage, Frankie Kazarian, and Jurassic Express on last night's episode of Dynamite, it came following Danielson challenging any Elite member to face him after Kenny Omega dismissed his rematch claims, resulting, ultimately, in the Jackson bout being announced.

The bout was taped along with the rest of the Rampage card after Dynamite had concluded.

Debuting for AEW at All Out 2021 on 5 September, Danielson made his in-ring bow for the promotion last week, wrestling Omega to a 30-minute time-limit draw on Dynamite's Grand Slam special. Immediately hailed as one of the best matches of the year, it was followed by The Young Bucks and Adam Cole blasting Daniel with simultaneous Superkicks to keep the heat between the two parties alive.

An Orange Cassidy vs. Jack Evans hair vs. hair match has also been confirmed for Rampage, as well as Jade Cargill vs. Nyla Rose vs. Thunder Rosa.
