Major Match Announced For Friday's WWE SmackDown
WWE plans some big 'go-home' fun for the final SmackDown before Elimination Chamber.
WWE will wrap up the build for Sunday's Elimination Chamber pay-per-view with a bumper six-man tag-team bout on this week's episode of SmackDown.
Kevin Owens is set to team with both Daniel Bryan and Cesaro against Sami Zayn, Jey Uso and 'King' Corbin. All of those men are involved in the weekend's Chamber match to determine a new challenger for Roman Reigns' Universal Title, and WWE has ensured that the bout has three babyfaces and three heels.
Don't you just love it when things work out?
Don't be surprised if Seth Rollins also appears on SmackDown - he returned last week and attacked Cesaro before Bryan made the save. That background feud could get even more attention on Friday night, leaving KO all alone to battle against the odds.
Or, WWE might book another big brawl between all six to add some last-minute excitement for the Chamber showdown. Owens did hit Stunners on a few of his rivals last Friday, after all.
Maybe one of the villains of the piece will get some late shine this time. Corbin, for example, needs to look like a bit more of a threat to be taken seriously at the pay-per-view.
