Having been absent from WWE programming since WrestleMania Backlash last month, there now comes an update on when Charlotte Flair may be back in action.

As first picked up on by Wrestling Inc., Flair is now being advertised for the 12 August SmackDown taping from Raleigh, North Carolina's PNC Arena.

If that SmackDown is to be Charlotte's first show back, that means she'll be missing this year's SummerSlam on 30 July. Of course, it may well be that the Queen is back on our screens before that 12 August outing for WWE's blue brand. Either way, it's apparent that the star will be returning at some point this summer.

Kayfabe-wise, Flair has been absent due to breaking a bone in her arm during her I Quit contest against Ronda Rousey at Backlash. In reality, the Queen was granted some time off to get married to AEW star Andrade El Idolo. The pair exchanged vows on 27 May in a ceremony attended by the likes of Ric Flair, Rey Mysterio, Finn Balor and the former Nia Jax.

Elsewhere for the aforementioned Raleigh SmackDown taping, also currently advertised for that show are Rousey, Drew McIntyre, The Usos, and a triple threat match featuring Bianca Belair, Rhea Ripley and Asuka.
