Having been off WWE TV since June, there's now a notable update on the status of Dragon Lee.
As first reported by Fightful Select, Lee was backstage at last night's Raw, although he obviously was not used on this latest outing for WWE's red brand. However, he did wrestle a match for this week's Main Event broadcast, where the 29-year-old takes on Ludwig Kaiser.
The last time Dragon Lee was seen on TV was as part of a Battle Royal on the 18 June NXT, and his most recent main roster appearance was on the night prior's Raw, where he lost to Carlito. The former IWGP Junior Heavyweight Champion did work last month's WWE tour of Mexico, working a couple of tag matches with Rey Mysterio against Carlito and Dominik Mysterio.

There's no word on why Dragon Lee has been absent for the past couple of months, although this Fightful report notes how the talent isn't "imminently planned for Raw" - suggesting it may still be a little while before the energetic high-flyer is back as a regular presence on WWE's Monday night flagship.
